Echoes of a teacher's heart
Teachers at two primary schools in South Africa have, since early 2008, engaged in dialogue with Learning Academy Worldwide in order to sharpen their skills as educators in today's school.
They have particualrly focussed on learning new and sharpening old skills to increase the participation of their learners. In this regard, they have particularly focussed on the need to engage learners in reading.
When we asked them to comment on their experiences, they have taken the liberty to both encourage and challenge us with their frank and insightful observations.
This page is dedicated to their voices and these soundfiles echo their heartbeats.
